Claimed to be EDF about a smart meter installation, but I already have one so it didn't make sense.
Energy meter update scam. Asked for changes and refused to provide written confirmation.
The caller claimed to be from EDF Energy and said they wanted to send me a smart meter. When I explained I already had one, they insisted mine was outdated and asked me to confirm my personal details. I refused and said I normally receive such notices by post, asking them to send it that way instead. They kept pushing to send something by email, which made me suspicious, so I ended the call. After checking online, I discovered it wasn’t EDF Energy at all.
